The show is propaganda intended to demonize White kids, and you're trying to find something edifying about it?
> I wrote about the things parents can do to prevent their kids from surviving the kinds of teenage tragedies shown in the new Netflix show Adolescence
The "tragedy" in the show is completely fictional, it's based on the real life murders of White children by Blacks. If there's any lesson to be learned from this "tragedy", it's that parents should keep their kids away from anyone who isn't White.
You're either stupid or you know this already, so this post has a lot of explaining to do.
To summarize: Yes, I think that a story about a white boy killing someone is far less "realistic" than a story about a black boy killing someone. But this is precisely why the the first story is an interesting cautionary tale, and the second story is obvious and boring. Also, there were known cases of white incel terrorists and killers (i.e. Elliot Rodger), but I agree that the frequency and impact of these is several orders of magnitudes smaller than black crime.
At some point I was a low status white boy like Jamie. Thankfully I had no access to the dark incel stuff online back then, but if I did, who knows what would I become.
Regardless of whether the show is anti-white propaganda (yes, it probably is), I tried to learn something from it. And what I figured out that the root cause of both the fictional issue in the show and other common issues faced by teenagers such as anxiety and depression is low status, and that there are things parents can do about it.
I do agree that bullied smart kids should switch environments to one where their strengths are appreciated. And this is a better takeaway than banning ninja swords. But it makes no sense in context. It's like blaming inceldom for 9/11 instead of the race war in the Middle East, and I use this example because that's what you did in the other post.
Adolescence was co-created by someone in the Wikipedia category of "Black British male actors", it's anti-White propaganda with the goal of exterminating Whites. This is not an exaggeration. When it is safer to do so, they will proclaim this more openly.
Any moral lesson you exegete from this genocidal flick is going to be entirely the work of your own imagination. Your time and energy would be infinitely better served seeking lessons from events that actually happened. I would recommend you start by finding a case of a 13 year old White incel murdering a female classmate, except, the concept of a 13 year old incel makes no sense. The movie makes no sense, until you realize, as I stated, it is anti-White propaganda and the only intended takeaway is essentially ban Whites.

Elliot Rodger was not White. This forces me to ask, are you non-White yourself? Otherwise, it's hard to explain away what appears to be willful ignorance.
Even if a work of art is crap, wrong, or anti-white propaganda, it's possible to learn something from it via critical thinking.
As for Rodger, I always thought he was white, but sort of ugly. I might be ignorant in terms of race, my only excuse is that I'm from Poland, a country where 99.99% people are white and the topic of race literally doesn't exist.
Am I not white? You tell me - you can see my profile pic. You seem to be better qualified in terms of nuance of race and I really don't mean it in a sarcastic way - Poles really don't care about race (when writing here I'm trying to use my autistic mental model of how people in most Western countries care about race, but as you can see it's not perfectly effective).
I take it Poles not caring about race is a luxury afforded to them by virtue of living in a 99.99% White country.
My arguments are not fallacious because I'm not claiming it's literally impossible to interpret the film in a way that lets you see (or "project") moral lessons. I'm just saying that's like interpreting anti-German propaganda from WWII in a way favorable to the Germans. The real lesson to be learned from the movie is that those who control the media (i.e. Netflix) hate you because you're White.
Any other takeaways that don't acknowledge this effectively aid the insidious propaganda, by distracting readers from this most important fact.
Rodger's mother is Ong Li Chin Tye, a Malaysian-Chinese woman.

I just read the other post.

I'm sorry, but your entire line of thought seems to be based on the genetic fallacy ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Genetic_fallacy ).
